However in the past few years things have been looking up and as of today as major breakthrough has occurred! Sydney siders get ready, Chantal Thomass has just opened in David Jones! We’re over the moon but also hoping this will spread to the other capitals so all of Australia can get some Parisian love! That’s not the only big news either. She has also released her AW14 collection in all it’s parisian chic-ness. We’ve been waiting since July for this amazing collection to finally hit stores. Throws of ribbon, laces and gorgeous fabrics swan the Chantal Thomass AW14 collection. The ultimate in french glamour and sophistication. Quintessentially on par with everything we were expecting from the famous French lingerie designer we love and follow! This seasons collection Chantal has channelled beautiful geometrics of the 1920’s art deco look and woven this through the collection. As always sheer fabrics and her signature bows have been leveraged and the petite elegance is very true to her style. Along with her signature bows, we’re also seeing the classic pastels we know and love. We’ve fallen for her sheer bodysuit with follies detailing. After all this season is all about sheer fabrics and we’re seeing this piece as a definite essential. Not to mention the stockings. Every season, I swear I get more and more excited for these and they never fail to please! Often matching the lingerie, this season we’re seeing the geometric shapes in the stockings as we are in lingerie. We’re so excited for these babies to hit the stores!
