{As I mentioned in the previous post, the owners of Mjölk live above their store in Toronto (there’s something so romantic about that isn’t it?). Studio Junction continued their work from the retail space, into the residence as well. Here, I believe the sensibilities lean towards the Asian side of their aesthetic - employing light wells and courtyards, and shoji screens to provide privacy, outdoor space, natural light, and air. The kitchen millwork also looks special, and looks like freestanding pieces put together. The fact that they were also able to maintain and clean up the historical facade is a bonus!} -- source link
