These are actually shots of his own home in Toronto’s Forest Hill neighbourhood, which he renovated probably over ten years ago now (since it was published in House and Home anyway). Even then, it still looks as gracious and chic, as the first time I saw it… I actually got the chance to see the house first-hand when I was an intern and was sent there to fetch a bolt of fabric from his basement. Traditional interiors like Brian’s never age or go out of date because of the classic design elements and choices that govern them; where personality shines through, is his choices in art and books.
