vanessapeterson:Went to go and see Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s Verses After Dusk at the Serpentine yesterday. So many beautiful portraits of black figures: ambiguous yet completely present. I left thinking about so many things - the political nature of black people, and the quiet wish to exist without interrogation or scrutiny. If you’re in London anytime soon, I would wholeheartedly recommend a trip to see this show. -- source link
