Praise the Lord for the fruit that is being born from the ministry among deaf people in Uzbekistan. The ministry which reaches out to deaf young people and children of deaf parents is growing fast. Many of these young people and children have accepted Jesus.Sadly, earlier this year, two teenage girls and one boy were beaten once they returned to their home. They had previously decided to follow Jesus at the youth meeting.Their uncle reacted very aggressively and beat them for their conversion. He took the Quran and demanded that they put their hands on the book and renounce Jesus - but they refused. The boys injuries were so severe that he had to be taken to the hospital.Pray for the safety of these young people. Pray also for their family - that God will soften their hearts towards the truth of Jesus Christ. -- source link
