Whynoctober (by Dorywhynot) prompt #1: cursed bladeWith effort greater than any he had ever known, Nuri managed to move against the force pushing him - just narrowly missing Tahir’s throat. The blade sunk into the wall with a sharp thud, hair and blood spraying through the air. He had nicked the side of Tahir’s neck, his eyes were wide and stunned. Nuri hissed and squeezed his eyes shut, with a shout he flung his arm out and tossed the blade away. It clattered to the floor, sizzling, the green glow slowly subsiding. “Shit!” Nuri spat and slumped to the floor. -- source link
