All the credit go to Very Finnish Problems on Facebook. All the temperatures are in Celcius. People… You guys don’t UNDERSTAND how crazy this is. As you may have heard, it has been incredibly hot in Finland lately, by our standards anyway. To give you a sense of proportion, this past week, it’s been hotter in Finland than in freaking LOS ANGELES!!!!! Aside, of course, places like Spain, a good portion of the Middle East, etc. Why is this so crazy?? It’s NUTS because NO LESS THAN SIX WEEKS AGO WE STILL HAD ABOUT THREE FEET (~1 METER) OF SNOW, and were WAY BEHIND in the arrival of spring!! Now, thanks to this FREAKING P MUCH ONCE IN A LIFETIME PHENOMENA, a heatwave this early IN MAY, we’re now about A MONTH AHEAD IN TEMPERATURES AND FULLY CAUGHT UP IF NOT AHEAD with the arrival of not only spring but summer!!!! THERE WAS STILL RESIDUAL PILES OF SNOW HERE LESS THAN A WEEK AGO!!It’s pure INSANITY, people!!!! THIS KIND OF STUFF SIMPLY NEVER HAPPENS HERE. You don’t have the faintest idea of how nuts this is!!!!
