        The subtle mint scent of Dean’s toothpaste ghosted across your skin, a soft brush of lips against your cheek rousing you from sleep and pulling a smile from your still-tired body.        “Good morning, Beautiful,” Dean whispered, carefully tucking a rogue piece of unbound hair behind your ear.        You hummed in response, eyes still closed as you savored the contact of his skin against yours - because even now in your bleary, post-sleep state, and after nearly a whole year with the man you loved, you still couldn’t get enough of him. Still couldn’t believe he was yours.        And so this time when he leaned in, his lips feather-light at first and intensifying on your cue, you greedily wrapped your arms around his shoulders, pulling him down to meet you and deepening the kiss.        “Good morning,” you echoed, lips still close enough to touch his as you spoke. Then you sleepily opened your eyes.        Dean lay beside you with tousled hair and a roguish smile, the likes of which only he could pull off while still looking like he’d just rolled out of bed, and the sight of him turned your insides to jelly.        “Did you sleep well?” he asked, voice low and thick with sleep.        You smiled dreamily up at him, the deep gravel of his voice making your knees feel weak. “Beside you? Always.”        “Good. Because we have a lot to do today.”        “Does it involve this bed?”        “Not yet.”        You groaned and rolled yourself toward him, burying your face in his chest. “But I like what we do in this bed.”        “So do I,” he chuckled, affectionately running his fingers through your hair. “But that bit comes later. Because today …” He rolled you on your back, strong arms caging you in as his face hovered over yours. “Is our first Valentines Day, and I intend to make it special.”        “Staying in bed all day would make it special,” you said,  a mischievous smile crossing your face.        “How about staying in bed all night?”        You frowned. “Sleeping doesn’t count.”        Dean lowered his body over yours, chest against chest, skin against skin, and whispered beside your ear, “I never said we’d be sleeping.”        The atmosphere shifted then, his closeness carrying undeniably more weight than it had only moments ago. “Do you promise?”        His mouth moved unfairly close to yours.        “I promise.”         And with that, he was on you. Lips colliding with lips, hands roaming over skin, what little clothes you had soon ending up forgotten on the floor.        “Okay, maybe we can start and finish the day in bed,” Dean said, breathing heavily.        “Maybe,” you laughed        “Oh and Y/N?”        “Hmm?”        “Happy Valentine’s Day.”A/N: Okay, so I know this isn’t my best work. Honestly, I don’t even really know what the story is about and I haven’t written a fanfic in over a month now so I’m a little rusty, but I really wanted to get a fic out for Valentine’s Day and I did the best that I could … so enjoy!
