Suspect in the Black Dahlia Murder Case: Jack Anderson Wilson A true crime writer named named John Gilmore interviewed Jack Anderson Wilson in the early 80’s. The interview was written in a book by John Gilmore called Servered: The True Story of the Black Dahlia Murder. Wilson supposely described details about Elizabeth Short murder that only the killer would know. This included knowledge that Short had an infection, which caused her to be able to have sexual intercourse. A few days before his arrest, Wilson died in a hotel fire.
