ups-dogs: The generosity of dogs can often bring tears to my eyes and this has never been more true
ups-dogs: The generosity of dogs can often bring tears to my eyes and this has never been more true than with Aslan, a rescued pittie who is the official greeter and mascot of Helping Hands Horse Rescue in Newberg, Oregon.True to his giving nature, Aslan feels compelled to reward my offer of biscuits with an adorable blep as well as a nose-curdling bubble of noxious, tail-fanned wind from his backside. This furious, fiendish, four-legged flinger of foul and fiery flatulence does not seem to understand that my gift of a Milk Bone is unconditional and does not require any sort of quid pew quo on his part. While it is indeed a kind gesture, it is also undoubtedly causing global warming and a depletion of the earth’s ozone layer as well as peeling the paint off of the side of my UPS truck. But since such lofty concepts are beyond the intellectual capacity of a dog, I am left with no choice but to accept his kind gift in the spirit that it was intended, pausing only for enough time to hold my breath, toss a handful of biscuits at him, and make my escape!By Scott Hodges -- source link
