Shuddh Desi Romance: Random… Shuddh desi romance is exactly that…it’s random…infact its so random that sometimes it doesn’t make sense…Now the whole idea is that this would appeal more to the youth…because today’s youth are all “commitment phobes” that just like to sleep around? umm… yeah no…i’m all for a unique perspective, for an individual story in bollywood…but this one just wasn’t it…. Shudd desi romance was a huge dissapointment for me…the cast was great, the acting was great…Sushant singh was charming, parineeti was exhillirating and new comer vaani was a great screen presence…the cinematography was beautiful… the music was unique but good and went well with the flow of the movie… now lets move on the what i didn’t like about it…well the entire second half, moves so slow that i actually skipped parts,  the dialogues though are wonderful, the characters are kind of lost throughout and call me old fashioned but I personally wasn’t content with the ending… Overall: shudd desi romance is a lighthearted rom-com…watch it for the cast if not for anything else…definitely a cable movie…don’t waste your money watching this one in the theaters… Miss: 4/10 -- source link
