Hello, friends. It’s been almost two years since I last updated this blog. I’ve missed it. I’ve missed all of you–your book recommendations, your poetry, the joy you find in sharing literature with each other–and I’m looking forward to seeing where the next year can take us together.Much has changed in two years. For the boring stuff: I got older. I graduated from my MFA program. I published a few things. I adopted two fur babies. I got engaged to my partner. I joined a book club. Y’all know how it goes. And in the bigger picture, things have changed as well. I feel as worried as the rest of my queer community about the days to come. If we’re being honest with each other, I think it’s obvious that my worry has been a catalyst for re-examining the things that used to bring me joy (like this blog!).I’m planning to make 2017 the year I read as much Queer Lit as I can get my little paws on.
