ghost-oakes:doctorcrystalbrookes:nicolesrows:IT CHAPTER TWO - Official Teaser Trailer@ghost-oakesYou know, I had a dream (more like nightmare) last night that Ghost Oakes actually started drawing clowns again and people were loving it.It was like they had completely forgotten that during his short stint in the clown/It fandom, he launched a clown dakimakura campaign that has YET to be fulfilled 18 months after it was funded…that he immediately spent the money on personal luxuries* then had the gall to post some e-begging guilt-tripping bullshit ONE WEEK LATER** about how he couldn’t pay his bills because his Kickstarter money “hadn’t come in yet…” that he lied and said the funds were properly allocated to vendors/ printers OVER A YEAR AGO*** and yet no one that backed his project has received their products…that during the time between his last update in December 2017 to the next update in May 2018, he deleted all content about the clown dakis/Pennywise/etc. from his blog and started drawing nothing but Bloodborne art for 5 months straight, then tried to e-beg in that fandom**** after a few months just like he did in the clown fandom…that he dropped a messy sketch dump page 2 months later and claimed he needed to redraw ALL of the daki designs, even though his backers had only seen 3 out of 4, which were all posted EIGHT MONTHS PRIOR***** as messy sketches too…that then he left his backers in silence for 5 MONTHS AGAIN before finally offering refund links; he still claimed that he wanted to do everything he offered, then deleted his tumblr blog- the only other platform he ever mentioned the dakis on- literally 2 WEEKS LATER******…that he deleted his website- the only place where you could file for a refund- just 4 months after posting links to it in his last update over 5 months ago because he failed to renew the domain name & isn’t planning on doing so******* any time soon…Throughout the campaign, he was drawing gift art for other blogs & offering commissions instead of working on the Kickstarter (since he obviously was trying to draw the stretch goals as they were being unlocked instead of having everything already finished.) Since it ended, he STILL offered commissions/ychs/etc. on other sites, drawn oc art, collaborated with his best friend on personal projects…anything BUT work on fulfilling his Kickstarter rewards. Then as of late November 2018, he started a “commission backlog/queue” on FurAffinity because he couldn’t remember how many he hadn’t completed… Currently he has a 75+ commission backlog & more people are adding to that list TO THIS DAY, some of which are 2 years overdue… There is no fucking excuse for this kind of behavior and absolute unprofessionalism; the best reason to explain it would be that he’s a scam artist. Simple as that. He has a history of lying, manipulating, abusing, claiming to have diseases/illnesses he doesn’t, siphoning money from multiple people, and many more heinous acts of disregarding other people’s well-being for the sake of his own self-serving goals.He could, AND SHOULD, be sued for civil fraud over the clown dakimakura Kickstarter scam. That’s no way to conduct business, especially seeing as he’s been a full-time digital artist for 9+ years. He ought to have his shit in order by now, but it’s clear he doesn’t. HE IS A SCAM ARTIST, AN UNAPOLOGETIC MANIPULATIVE NARCISSIST WITH A VICTIM COMPLEX & A HYPOCHONDRIAC STREAK.*we have screenshots from his partner at the time proving that he misused the Kickstarter funds to by them jewelry & a vibrat0r, as well as a new phone + plan, bad dragon dild0s, weed, and many more frivolous items for himself.**we have screenshots proving that the funds from the Kickstarter were taken out of backers’ bank accounts 2 days after the campaign ended.***we have the screenshots from his partner- as well as screenshots from a FurAffinity journal -that prove that he’d lied about how he spent the funds before posting said update to Kickstarter.****we have testimonials of people in the Bloodborne fandom that knew about Ghost Oakes and his shady business practices and tried to warn others about him, as well as many screenshots of Bloodborne art he produced during that time and the e-begging post he made.*****we have screenshots of said update and the updates from eight months earlier, showing messy sketches of only 3 out of the 4 dakis unlocked during the campaign.******we screenshots of said update and the timeline of his Kickstarter updates showing just how long he leaves his backers in silence with no proof anywhere else of his progress on this campaign; also this is not the real Ghost Oakes typing this post, which should be proof enough that he gave up this url.*******we have screenshots of Twitter posts and FurAffinity journals where he admits this, never minding the fact his backers were the ones to alert him of his defunct website while trying to file for refunds. Why would he delete content every couple of months? Why would he jump fandoms so frequently? If he’s got nothing to hide and hasn’t done anything wrong, then why are these some of the first few hits when you google search him? (that is, if you bothered to research the artists you follow ahead of time…)This isn’t a fake account. We didn’t “steal” his blog. He abandoned this url. Some people noticed and took the opportunity to claim it so they could warn people of his manipulative behavior, shady business practices, history of abuse, etc.Don’t believe me? Trying to look like the victim to one of his past partner’s “verbal & emotional abuse” when it was clearly consensual.Self-victimizing while asking for a refund on a commission, and the passive aggressive language he uses with his friend while doing so.Multiple accounts of him lying about:Killing a dog.Almost being raped by someone masquerading as a cop.The “Billy Story.”Killing a guy aka: The “Train/Murder Story” (completely misunderstanding how intrusive thoughts work, lying about having them, and other versions of this story he’s told to different people.)Getting into a fight at a biker bar (also mentions intrusive thoughts, still not understanding how they work, and cancer.)His family, native genes, and his brother “Reese” who killed himself in front of him/ made Tucker kill him/ Tucker killed him for fun. (the story constantly changes.)And that’s saying nothing of his mental health claims like: being diagnosed in therapy with severe bpd, but admitted earlier this year that he was “professionally diagnosed” with severe adhd, and that he’d only self-diagnosed with bpd- and it reads more like sociopathy honestly- which he has used to excuse his abusive behaviour and lack of productivity many times.having DID (multiple personality disorder) yet completely misunderstanding how it works.OR physical illnesses:when he claimed to be in a wheelchair & went by Anika Harlson/ anika_dark when he claimed to have breast cancer & couldn’t treat it because of sepsis (which is just insulting to our intelligence.)He also claimed his mother had MS and wanted to kill the puppy he bought himself on whim. He also claimed his father abused him, that one of his partners murdered a kitten, was Scandinavian, and therefore going to beat Tucker up/ probably kill him…He’s admitted to being super manipulative, and siphoning money from people to pay for personal things, and has used anger to justify his abusive behavior.He’s also sent himself self-tracked anon hate and photoshopped bruises on himself, claimed to have been sent anon hate from a past partner, sent himself & his partner an anonymous message then played dumb about it until he got caught… He’s lied in FurAffinity journals— many times— about his housing & finacial situations. He refuses to fulfill his clown daki campaign, has lied about the status of his Kickstarter— on multiple occasions— and has lied about how he spent the funds numerous times, which can get him sued for committing civil fraud. He’s also lied about how much he made in profit- which was proven to be false- lied about when the money came in, and the few times he has updated his backers he was passive aggressive and attempted to minimize the severity of things while trying to play the victim. He was passive aggressive when faced with backlash against drawing Genny out of the blue and asking for drawing requests for him. He’s used graphic images of self-harm/blood & suicide-baiting to manipulate his partners- as well as his clients- through emotional blackmail. He’s also used threats of homelessness to extort money from friends, clients, and past partners through nearly monthly e-begging posts.And again. (This time he’s trying to look as pitiable/desperate as possible so people will donate money to him, e-begging for handouts yet again while playing the victim to circumstance & blaming mental illness for his lack of productivity. (He also admits the money from the Kickstarter is long gone, but still maintains the lie that it was spent on the wholesale products, and even claims the prices he charged per tier weren’t high enough…)His past partners, backers, and clients have every right to be pissed. They’ve been manipulated and scammed, yet they are still attempting to resolve this as civilly as possible. They have no obligation to be calm at this point. Tucker has been gas-lighting, guilt-tripping, scapegoating, and emotionally-blackmailing them for years. He’s evaded & diverted being held accountable for his behavior, attempted to rationalize & minimize his actions- or a lack thereof- when he can’t outrightly ignore or deny it (see: ad hoc hypothsizing.) He’s guilty of using countless fallacious arguments and really forces a suspension of disbelief from you just to make some sense of his “reality.” You do know how scammers get away with scamming people, right? They only have to follow through with/deliver on/fulfill promises they’ve made ~occasionally~ and that’s more than enough to give people hope, to force them into be more patient since they’re already so emotionally invested in receiving their goods… Then throwing in a bit of guilt-tripping, playing the victim of circumstance, emotional blackmailing, and other psychologically manipulative tactics that Ghost Oakes has used so many times before- as well as to this day- will make it *very* easy to get hooked.Anyone can get scammed at any time, you aren’t special or exempt from that in any way.The truth is when we really want to like someone, we’ll accept any excuse they give us & forgive virtually any of their wrongdoings; further driving home the point is when people say things like this about them:“I know he’s not a liar. He proved it by suggesting that everyone else is a liar.”“I know he’s not mean, because when he wants me to hate someone, he’s very nice about it/ he says he was attacked by them with no provocation.”“I know he’s not manipulating me, because you always know the moment you’re being manipulated.”“Abusive people wouldn’t say they were abusive! IMPOSSIBLE!“He makes his victims look less credible because of the extravagance of the stories he told, and they must try to justify having believed at some point… When you’re under Tucker’s influence you aren’t the same person.  When you’re in an abusive/toxic relationship, you are not the same person.Here’s some further reading on the subject of manipulators & faking illnesses, abuse & cold empathy, just some of the psychologically manipulative tactics he uses, even more manipulation techniques he’s guilty of using, …if you need more convincing.I know people are wary of call-out culture on tumblr, but there is a big difference between “this person is abusive/seriously malicious” sense and “this person is problematic” sense. In this case, it’s the former. And when you have multiple independent sources all saying the same thing- some of which are very detailed- it’s only logical to exercise some caution around said individual. I’m sorry if any of this somehow taints your view of your “friend,” but seeing as how you’re either extremely gullible & have bought into all of his sob-stories, blinded by his artistic talents, or one of a handful of his apologists (possibly all of the above) you’ll likely not take any of this to heart. But this isn’t for you.
