dearmisskitty:mweerden:dearmisskitty:magali1982:dearmisskitty:sleemo:“The world of Star Wars is not our world. Kylo Ren is not some hipster in hip-hugging jeans. Think Errol Flynn swashbuckling coolness as a point of departure. Hide that navel!” —Michael Kaplan, costume designer for The Last Jedi Keep readingI’m still curious as to why they didn’t choose to show his belly.. too much? ..Is it terrible I’m being offended by all these jokes people are making about this scene ? I’m too protective of him. Lol @dearmisskitty we’re ALL too protective of him. And proud of it! Haha very true. My friend told me the other day, “His body shape is weird.” I just gave him a dirty look, “He is built like a god. How dare you.” Lol Oh man I get so angry when people say that. And also, people call him a refrigerator in a derogatory way and I’m like, how is being shaped like a refrigerator even a bad thing?? Right? I’m very defensive when people judge each other looks. Attractiveness is subjective, let alone don’t be an asshole. Like I will seriously fight you. Don’t go there with me.Honestly if you look at real athletic bodies he has the same shape. Adam isn’t built nor has been trimmed down to look more typical Hollywood sculpted. He has solid practical muscle mass and a healthy protective layer of fat around his core. His shape is correct for the role of Kylo Ren. Anyone who jokes at that photo doesn’t know the first thing about how strong Adam really is and how fighters are actually shaped. That screams to me I can give out a beating as good as I can take one. -- source link
