Re-emergenceThese two pretties emerged from their sleep. They came out with their wings full of color at approximately 8:00 AM on August 11 2020. When I found them the wings were still a little damp. They were drying in the morning sun. If I was a few minutes sooner, I would have been able to see them break through the skin of the chrysalis. Their colors were so bright and crisp. They shimmered in the morning sun. We have one more waiting to complete their change. Hopefully, it will be tomorrow. It went to it’s chrysalis stage a day after these two. -- source link
