tanjatherusticgirl: erisis: Today is the Trans Day of Remembrance. Every year, already shocking numbers of trans people around the world lose their lives to violence and hate. On TDoR we remember those lives, those bright lights snuffed out far too soon. Over the past few years the violence against trans and gender nonconforming people has been rising. Especially against trans women, and most perniciously against Black Trans Women and Trans Women of Color. So this year, if you are Trans yourself, please take the time to Remember our Siblings violently ripped from us. And most importantly, take the time to take care of yourselves. You are beautiful and you are precious. And every breath you take is an act of Revolution. And if you are not Trans. I urge you to take the time today to ask yourself what you can do to stop this violence? How you can save our lives???
