You’re doing what you know you are good at because you know people will like it rather then doing what you want to do because learning is a messy process that takes time rather then a miraculous art piece you can present to the masses immediately. Basically you are focusing on the validation from other people rather then drawing what you want to and going through the potentially messy and unpredictable experience of growing. I recommend watching the Ted Talk, How craving attention makes you less creative by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Actor) where he talks about his experiences with addition to social media messing with his art/acting process. So perhaps try drawing for yourself for a change? Just whatever random thing you feel like rather then what other people want? Whatever you do I hope you find your passion again. <3 -- source link
