petite-madame:The Coffee Time Palette - (2021)I bought a makeup palette, found the cover quite ugly, and I turned it into a Steve/Bucky Coffee Shop AU palette. It’s far better now. ^^@thelittlespaceprincess 1) I started to measure everything and to remove the part with the mirror with a screwdriver and an utility knife (Be careful. Use protection gloves if necessary)(The measurements are in centimeters)2) I drew in Photoshop the cover, printed it, and protected it with a piece of cellophane. You have to draw the cover a bit bigger than the actual palette (= leave a bleed area)because you need some space to glue the edges of the drawing under the mirror. As I said, don’t forget the bleed area:3) Time to glue everything back! I used a very strong glue. I don’t know if it exists in your country but in France, it’s called SuperGlue 3, a.k.a France’s most famous glue.4) Et…voilà! It’s done. I’m gonna be honest, the hardest part for me wasn’t to come up with a design or to draw the artwork, it was to remove the mirror without screwing up the paper around the mirror and to glue everything back neatly. I put heavy books on the palette during several hours to make sure everything was glued firmly.I hope it helped! Have fun ♥ -- source link
