ilvermorny-valedictorian:mikoshrimp:Neocaridina sp. Red Rili. You can keep this species with cherry shrimp and not have wild types. But won’t interbreeding with cherry shrimp mess up the Rili pattern in the offspring and you will end up with shrimp with random clear spots instead of a distinct band? I guess t’s not important unless you want to sell them later or care a lot about the color grade of your cherrys. This is just for people looking to keep other patterns and colors that won’t revert to wild types. All neo lines need tons of culling and work regardless. That’s why you can see more and newer variants of caridina than neocaridina as time goes on. That being said, if you aren’t breeding for sales and would like to keep more than one type of neos, the following is also possible: orange Rili/orange(Sakura,pumpkin, gold flame) blue dream(carbon Rili, blue carbon Rili, black carbon shrimp) green jade/yellow(but not recommended since green jade is so expensive and yellow is dominant in this case so your green jade line will just end) -- source link
