@michaela_powell: Today is the final show for Les Miserables Australia.Even after over a year together, these beautiful souls welcomed me into their company and managed to find a place for me in their crazy family for the end of the tour. One of the joys of being a Swing is that I’ve had the privilege of witnessing first hand the amazing dedication, talent and fearlessness of EVERYONE in the cast and crew (that backstage traffic is nastayyy) it takes a certain group of people to allow a newbie to come into a piece this special and trust her to slot her way into 8 different tracks. I’m particularly grateful for my Swing Siblings. The most intelligent and generous people. They make the impossible possible and even on the toughest of swing days…I always knew that together we’d be fine. Matt Heyward and Naomi Livingston. Thank you. My heart breaks to imagine a Les Mis or a Green Room without either of you. Although my Les Mis journey continues, today I have to say goodbye to a lot of people who have taught me so much…things that I will hold onto not just for the rest of this adventure but for the rest of my life.
