supernatural-jackles:WrongJared x Reader“Shh, Shh! It’s okay. I’m here, I’ve got you,” Jared whispered as his grip tightened on you. Another sob racked through your body, causing you to move in closer to him instinctively. His hold on you made you feel better. Through your stuffed nose, you could smell the scent of his cologne. Jared was always holding you when things went wrong. Jared was always there for you. “Jare,” you sniffled. “I know, baby girl, I know. The guy’s a fucking douchebag. He doesn’t deserve a girl like you,” he told you, running his hand along your arm. “No. You’re wrong,” you shook your head. “No one is going to love someone as pathetic as me.” “You are so wrong about that,” he started. His grip on you loosened before you felt him reach under your chin, urging you to look up at him. You couldn’t. You don’t want to see the look in his eyes. You knew the second your eyes met his, that you’d break all over again. Jared always had that effect on you. “Hey, look at me, pretty girl.” He inched your chin up just a little bit more, your tear filled eyes meeting his. His eyes were soft, looking at you with that very same kindness he always showed you. “You Y/N, are beautiful. You have a smile that lights up the room. Your laugh is contagious, especially when you throw your body back when you laugh. You have gorgeous Y/E/C. But you also have an amazing sense of humour, and amazing taste in music. You are always there for the ones you love. I mean you’ve put me back together more times than I can count. I could go on for hours with all the things that are great about you. My point is, you are perfect just the way you are, and if someone can’t see that, then they aren’t worth a second of your time.” “If I’m so perfect, then why does this keep happening?” you shook your head. “Because you haven’t found the right guy just yet,” he shrugged, running his thumb over your chin. “Until then, you’ve got me.” “If only I really had you,” you muttered under your breath, knowing he wouldn’t hear it. He couldn’t. Because that simple sentence had the potential to ruin a sixteen year friendship. -- source link
