rainbowsandunicornscrafts:DIY Inspiration: Balloon Elephant Drawing from tkhlopkova on Instagram. This would make a cute birthday invitation. This was one of over 75 “sensitive content” hidden posts I have found after looking on 2 of my 4 blogs (truebluemeandyou.com and UnicornHatParty.com). And I already know that truebluehalloween.com has a bunch of posts flagged. The process has been excruiatingly time consuming - tracking down these posts that I need to appeal. And I would look through your own archives because you never know what the Tumblr Algorithm deems as “sensitive”. The most ridiculous part is that you can’t appeal reblogs - so unless the original poster appeals the post, you are stuck.1. So, you go to your ARCHIVE and start searching. You will see a white box, gray when clicked on - both these are seen below. On a big screen with hundreds if not thousands of images to screen though, this isn’t always easy.2. Make sure you have XKIT installed and install the date and time stamp feature. This makes it easier to look for your posts that you want to appeal. BUT it is faster to scroll down your dashboard on an Android phone (iphone Tumblr App does NOT support appeals), but I had to do it with a computer open to my Archive so I knew where I was in my 7 ½ years of posts (over 9,000). 3. Then you get to your post and it looks like this. You click appeal and it changes to an orange color. Make sure you have your email notifications from Tumblr ON. Check your email and your blog to see if Tumblr has approved your appeal. So far it has taken only minutes for the appeal to go through.I have found that I cannot predict what is going to set off Tumblr’s Algorithm. But I know what was seen as “sensitive” - legos, legos, legos, bubble wrap, lots of nail art, boots, poorly lit posts of tee shirt makeovers, baby’s shoes, stacked rings, etc… I’ve saved a list to make a large collage of later when I go though my remaining 2 blogs. But why weren’t these 2 posts chosen? They seem like obvious choices.DIY Macrame Wrapped Gem Necklace Tutorial from Sustainability in Style.Or why wasn’t this chosen? DIY Chocolate Casting in Brown Sugar Tutorial from Rise and Shine here. I guess we will never know. -- source link
