Realized I will be spending loads of time making rocks, so I tried to get some sculpting practice. Need to get these things tileable without visible seams, though.Also noticed I can cut down the low poly meshes even more, to about 100-200 triangles without much of a quality drop from far away. Gonna use that for level of detail shenanigans in Unity cuz there will be loads of rocks around.Not sure if I like Unity’s terrain system all that much, though. Need to tinker around more in that direction, too. -- source link
