Hey guys it’s been awhile and I took some time off to think about things. There’s a lot going on in this country and I’d like to bring attention to some amazing artists that deserve more recognition. Art Nouveau is mainly a European based historical art movement that sadly did not reflect or include people of color when it came about in the 1800-1900′s. It’s always been glaring to me, the omission, and has always bothered me! I have tried to include poc artists over the years on this blog and feature art nouveau through different interpretations because I wanted to show diversity in art. So I’m going to be showcasing poc artists who paint in the style (or similar) on this blog more often. If you all have any recommendations please message me so I can feature some cool artists.
