Silly little comics about Raymond AnimalCrossingThis was partially inspired by a post I saw where someone put Raymond’s clothes on Bob & joked about “selling bootleg Raymonds.” Partially inspired by the Not!Them from TMA.I had a HUGE amount of fun making this. It’s a pretty big challenge to fit Animal Crossing’s colorful, squashy style into a horror comic. (Even if it’s a joke horror comic.) The solution I finagled was to put a bunch of purplish-grey filters over everything, to try & evoke a sense of “wrongness” via color. Also to put some of my usual crunchy crosshatching on top.…It’s also probably worth mentioning that I’ve never played New Horizons. I’ve played New Leaf, though, and Bob was one of my favorite villagers. -- source link
