2019 Series Diary - 1/???Hip-Hop Evolution | Season 2 | Darby Wheeler | 9/10idk how well does this reflect the history of hip-hop, but as a white, upperclass, latino kid (meaning not at all in touch with hip-hop), I think it’s great. Shad is really charismatic and hearing the story from the people involved in it is nice. It also seems important as an alternative to all the rock history docs out there. If i’d seen this as a kid I’d probably wouldn’t have had such a late introduction to this music. Hope this keeps going until it reaches our current time. -- source link
