Since the 1980s the nearby area has hyper-gentrified, and there is a TraderJoe’s a block away! The market has become quite posh, but it is still fun to visit on a Saturday when the outdoor stalls under the (now refurbished) awning are in use as a kind of farmers market. -- source link
