Barrymen in 1939, it satirized the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, also known as the Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact.  During the first year of World War II, Germany and the Soviet Union were allies who conducted a joint invasion of Poland.  Of course history would later show that Hitler could not be trusted when he broke the pact by invading the Soviet Union on the 2nd of June, 1941.Stalin looks pretty good in a dress. -- source link
