A cordial is a herb or plant infused in alcohol used for medical purposes, typically taken in small doses or added to a cocktail (or mocktail). Reishi is a mushroom that is an adaptogen, woking to both restore the nervous system while enhancing immunity. Rosehips add vitamin C while the ashwagandha root is also an adaptogenic herb adding a bit of comfort. Directions: ¼ cup rosehips 8 thin slices of reishi mushroom 2 TBSP ashwagandha root ½ cup honey 2 cups red wine Muddle rosehips in a pint-size jar. Add remaining ingredients and cover with wine. Cap tightly and shake. Infuse for 3-5 weeks, shaking daily. Store for up to 2 months in the fridge or cupboard. -- source link
