His lungs are slowly filling with fluid which makes his breathing hard. The vet gave him meds but didn’t believe he would survive January. BUT here we are! He is really active, plays with my other cat, eats and demands attention. Last night I saw him have trouble with breathing so I took him to ER. They said his heart has gotten even larger than it was before and we did rise the dose of his med to maximum. Next week we will see if it has helped him at all.I don’t really want to ask for help, but as a student and as a someone who is on sick leave and can’t work I’m really struggling financially. His vet costs have been really expensive. That why I’m opening my commissions for a short period of time.I’m so exhausted and scared. Pepsi has been with me when I had hard times, helped me to get thru my worst depression, he is my first own cat… He isn’t even that old (turns 5y this year). We believe he may have born with this condition. I’m really hoping it gets better. I don’t want to say goodbye to my child yet. -- source link
