Neal Russler, ‘Dead Americans Abroad’ (inspired by 'An American Werewolf in London’), 2013SourceMy affection for the celebration of Samhain/Hallowe’en arrives early this year. ‘An American Werewolf in London’ is a childhood favorite and remains a great horror/comedy. Consider this post a recommendation to watch the film if you’ve never seen it. Rick Baker won an academy award for his make-up/FX, particularly for the memorable transformation scene where the protagonist David Kessler becomes a werewolf for the first time, a scene scored by Bobby Vinton’s haunting version of ‘Blue Moon.’ Wonderful. -- source link
