High-heeled blossoms by Willie Cole Willie Cole has often depended on found objects for his sculptural works, so when he recently came upon a supply of several thousand pairs of high-heeled shoes, it was time to go back to one of his original inspirations. Cole went into a secondhand shop and decided on high-heeled shoes because they seemed to be present in abundance.
