I love that it is rechargeable - no more blowing through batteries like a planet-hating monster! Most rechargeable toys I’ve tried had a very high, mosquito-like buzz, whereas I really need a low, more rumbly kind of buzz. That, or they just weren’t powerful enough. This one is MUCH more like the buzz I’m used to, almost exactly perfect, and fairly strong. I’m confident I’ll get used to the difference quickly. In fact, I got off with it yesterday with no problems - you know, strictly for testing purposes. ;) It has some quirks that will take getting used to. For instance, you have to press the power button on the vibe itself on before you can control it via remote, and it goes into standby mode after 10 minutes of no use. You also have to press the power button on the remote for two seconds before it kicks in. I guess that’s to prevent accidental activations, I dunno. It took me a bit to figure it all out because there aren’t any real instructions on the thing, at first I thought it was defective. I showed it to him last night. He had no idea I wanted to do this so this was all fresh information to him. You should’ve seen how his face lit up when he got the idea! “Ooh we’re going to have some fun with this!” Hell yeah we are! Can’t. Wait. Ok, time for an updated review of this bad boy!First, the positives.1. This thing is FUN! It’s fun to play with by myself, it’s super fun to play with him holding the remote, it’s just great fun all around.2. It is quiet. If I am wearing it on the inside, you really can’t hear it unless the room is dead silent and you’re listening for it. I’ve worn it out on the street, in coffee shops, in restaurants, no problem. 3. It feels pretty awesome. It’s not as rumbly as I’d like, but it’s still more than capable of giving me a nice satisfying orgasm. 4. The range is pretty good. We haven’t really played with figuring out just how far we can take it, but we have established that it works from another room with no problem, which is sufficient for the majority of our purposes.5. Lots of vibration modes, from “this will make me cum” to “this is going to drive me crazy, but never let me get anywhere near an orgasm”. You know, something for everyone. Now, the quirks.1. You have to turn the vibrator unit on by pressing and holding a button on its body. THEN you can control it with the remote. If you do not turn it on for 10 minutes, the vibrator shuts down and you have to press and hold the button on the vibrator unit body again to turn it back on. This is rather inconvenient if it’s, you know, SHOVED UP YOUR SNATCH AND YOU’RE OUT IN PUBLIC! I guess this is to conserve battery or something, but it is kind of a major bummer.2. The remote has some quirks too. You have to press the ON button for two seconds exactly to turn it on, then you can use the up and down buttons to cycle through the various vibration modes. Sounds fine, except if you hold the ON button for three seconds instead of two, the vibe turns on, and then immediately off. The remote does not provide any sort of indicator of whether the vibe is on or off. This is not a problem if I’m playing with myself - trust me, I know when it’s on. But if he’s controlling it, he has no idea whether it’s on unless I tell him, which kinda gets in the way. He’s practicing with it on his own to get better at timing it when I’m wearing it, and we will definitely need a couple of signals of some sort: one for letting him know it’s on, one for when it’s off. Other than that, it’s a great little toy, and an awesome addition to our collection!
