Tiberius and his first wife Vipsania Agrippina. The future emperor was forced to divorce Vipsania, who was pregnant, and marry Augustus’ daughter Julia. This was really cruel since according to roman historians they were a loving, happ couple. Tiberius’ affinity for his former wife caused also all sorts of problems within the imperial family.
