msulconservationlab:Now You See Me!Several illustrations had come loose from this page. The illustrations were roughly the same size, and I couldn’t tell what went where. I was able to look at the item under a UV light. The old adhesive, which wasn’t visible under normal lighting conditions, glowed yellow. I was able to match the stains on the backs of the images to the stains on the page to determine the correct placement of each images.- Bexx#notamanuscript, but a great use of technology to solve an issue with physical materials.
