mortisia:The dinning room by Romain CHASSAGNEThe painted hall in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London. The buildings was built between 1696 and 1712 by Christopher Wren. Originaly the palace of Placentia (birthplace of Mary I and Elizabeth I) stood there, but was destroyed during the English civil war. At first the building was established as a residential home for injured sailors, as les Invalides in Paris, then became a training establishment of the Royal Navy.
