bicrim:mcu-supersoldiers:Sebastian Stan gets a TON of credit for it all the time, but can we appreciate for a second how emotionally packed this very short, non-dialogue moment is? What Steve saw Fucked. Him. Up. He is BARELY keeping his shit together. But he HAS to. For the team. For himself. Because if he unravels, even a little, he’ll completely fall apart. And that does nobody any good. He’s so TIRED, and so DONE, and just LOOK. AT. HIM. ball up his fist, and accept that there is still so much shit to get done. Now is not the time. It never seems to be the time. He’s Captain America. He always gets back up. Always. And it’s fucking EXHAUSTING, and pisses him off a little that he’s not ALLOWED to be human and hurting. Five seconds. Chris Evans, bless his biceps and blue eyes, gave ALL THAT in FIVE SILENT SECONDS. Amazing acting.
