teonthedemon:SWORDS ARE NOT TOYS.Because I’ve had some *very* uncooperative parties lately, here’s a few tips from a pocket tank…- White Mages and Astrologians, please don’t cast a HoT on me just before a pull, especially a big pull.- Machinists and Bards, just because you can DPS while running doesn’t mean that everyone can. Yeah, I’m sorry I lost aggro, but stay still so I can take it off you.- Black Mages, hey we just met, and this is crazy, but I just pulled like 9 mobs, so AoE maybe?- DPS, please wait until a pull is completed/positioned before going ham with your rotation.- Don’t stand in front of the boss. That’s my spot.- If we’re in a dungeon and get a Limit Break on the way to the boss, use it after I establish threat. Let’s not sit on a full Limit Break because you think it’s cool to pop it at 1%. It’s a waste, and we can build more up during the boss fight.- Yes, I get that you may have done this dungeon 100 times and know the mechanics like the back of your hand, but please - don’t pull mobs yourself, it truly irks me. If you think I’m going too slow, or you want me to pull multiple groups at a time, just say so. -- source link
