Also had an email from my dealer:“Hi Andy,I am pleased to inform you that your Fuji X100 has shipped today and should be with you tomorrow.I have received the below email from our Fuji UK sales manager and would like to pass this on to you.As you will see Fuji are setting up a Platinum Service for X100 customers and to offer you this service we need you NOT to register your camera when it arrives with you tomorrow. We have noted your camera serials today and will enrol your purchase with Fuji UK as soon as this system is up and running. By doing so you will benefit from the below points mentioned.If you have any questions please get in touch.Kind regards,Mark————————Hi All,You, like I, will be extremely pleased at the initial consumer response to the FinePix X100 and I am sending this mail to confirm our support to UK Retail Approved Stockists. I can also confirm that initial stock allocations have been made with further stock deliveries being anticipated for the third week in March. As part of the support package we are developing a registration section upon our website which will only be accessible by UK Retail Approved Stockists and detail will follow shortly.Upon this registration section you will be able to qualify the consumer for Platinum Service. Should you supply a camera this week you need to ensure that the consumer does not register with Fujifilm but enables you to do this on their behalf.
