Ancient Egyptian red granite box with lid, representing a miniature shrine or shrine-shaped sarcophagus. The box belonged to a treasurer/steward named Neter-isy and his wife Nub-em-seshy, and may have been placed in their tomb. Artist unknown; ca. 1956-1872 BCE (Middle Kingdom).
