helmenstitch: This was created as a present for my father-in-law, and ended up stitching up fairly quickly. I got the pattern from Crossstitchhobbyshop on Etsy, and originally called for being stitched on white aida, but instead, I had this beautiful blue already in my stash, so I used it! I am quite pleased with the result, even if the thread used was not DMC. I’m sure he will love it, at least. There is also a little speck of dust or something on the finished piece there, that I didn’t get a chance to brush off before taking the picture. This is probably the first project I have ever finished, and it was quite an easy start. You can get the pattern here! -- source link
