This is a test shot at 800 asa and I am really liking the higher iso values of this camera. Whilst not film grain the noise does have a pleasing quality.View a larger versionUnfortuanately my RAW converter - RAW Developer - will not have an update to handle the RAW files for awhile. Fuji include SilkyPix which is really a piece of crap and I do not want to try and learn how to use it as I have my workflow settled on RAW Developer and Lightroom 3.However, I have found a RAW converter that does have initial support for the Fuji raw (.raf) files but is Mac only.RAW Photo Processor is written by Andrey Tverdokhleb and does a decent job of converting the files to 16 bit TIFF’s.Oh, yeah - I took the SilkyPix CD down to the beach and use it as a frisbee and skimmed it over the waves of the English channel! -- source link
