February 21, 2018 - First crocus of the year!Yay the crocus have started to bloom! The blooms only last for one day so they’re a good lesson in impermanence, and also a reminder to plant tons more of these in the fall.These are usually my very first flowers to bloom, they’re the ones you see in pictures peeking out of snow. I was wearing shorts and we had to turn on the AC it was so hot. All the rapid, dramatic shifts in the weather have been freaking me out. -- source link
