It looks like they’re watching the camera / the person filming intently, Tail motion in both cats and doesn’t doesn’t necessarily indicate emotional state in and of itself - it’s tells you there’s some sort of emotional intensity, but you have to look at other cues to determine what’s going on. I don’t think this is anything negative. II would bet there’s food involved, and the tail switching indicates excitement / interest. The kittens are chasing the tail because, well, they’re kittens and practicing hunting behavior on anything that moves is exactly what they’re designed to do. -- source link
