It took me a long time to truly process what had happened.” [x]And so Franciszek Gajowniczek got to live through the war, and after the German capitulation, he’s been freed. He managed to find his wife in Rawa Mazowiecka, Poland. Unfortunately, both of his sons has died in bombing of that city during the war.For whole his life he’s been a witness of Maximilian Kolbe’s sancticity. He was present at both beatification and canonization of the saint.
