Important FACT:It was the author’s initial idea to make Jun Misugi the BEST CAPTAIN of All Japan having attributed to him all the qualities -  natural talents, exceptional skills, unwavering mentality, very high IQ, and flawless leadership, designed to be the greatest leader .In the original story of CT V -Hasha no Shōgō Campione- developed by TECMO in 1994, it is Misugi who captains All-Japan’s Senior National Squad and, abeit at the expense of his life, dutifully leads them to win the Asian Cup  alongside Misaki & Matsuyama under the coaching of Roberto, completely without its overseas players . Nevertheless, Takahashi-sensei decided to alter the plot when he started drawing Golden23 Arc so as to avoid adding a further burden to the Noble Prince’s imperfect heart.In truth, Misugi’s leading role may have been significantly reduced when he first returned to National Japan after 3 years of rehabilitation (World Youth Arc), and yet the strong impacts he has on All-Japan cannot be denied, being the Defense Commander leading the backline while also supporting the frontline whenever he sees the chance .
