I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the team for this project, led by Zeke Gonzalez, creating science-inspired monsters to include in Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden and other adventures in arctic climates! My submission takes inspiration from the amazingly-preserved ice-age animals that have been unearthed from permafrost, but considers what happens if these ancient mummies of mammoths, cave bears and other extinct animals are raised from the dead!
