Tor helpfully also published a post about the women writers of space opera, but this had an effect more along the lines of “here’s the real list and here’s the girls’ list”. This is meant to kick off a Space Opera Week?We didn’t do a protagonist breakdown for this list because it’s a list of universes, and it would have been too complicated to count which books, etc., especially for the Heinlein juveniles.
