4 years ago today, I went to a cat shelter and took home these two.Dance, the brown tabby, was abandoned by his former family when he came down with a minor and temporary condition called vestibular disease that affected his balance. Instead of bringing him to the vet, they brought him to the shelter. He waited for 2 years before he went home with his pal Boxer.I didn’t want to get two cats at once, but Boxer charmed us. They lived together with many other cats in the shelter room for cats that have been waiting for a home for over a year.
