Opening this Friday May 4th @talongallery Portland, OR. Detail: new ‘Air’ painting. Underneath the sage green lichen and wet moss, a shy Coast garter snake (Thamnophis elegans terrestris) fearfully hides in the safety of it’s rocky home from the light above. Crawling around the base of the flower is the brilliant Golden Buprestid (Buprestis aurulenta) migrated from the California Sierras.
